Option 1: Delete Your Account Inside FitTrack
To delete your account from the FitTrack application:
- Open FitTrack.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Read the deletion notice.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete the account.
- Complete any identity or recent-login verification requested by the app.
Expected path: FitTrack > Settings > Delete Account
After successful deletion, FitTrack will sign you out and the deleted account will no longer be available for Sign In. If the app reports that a recent Sign In is required, sign in again and repeat the deletion process.
Option 2: Request Deletion Without the App
If you cannot access FitTrack, send an account-deletion request to support@warislabs.com.
Recommended email subject: FitTrack Account Deletion Request
Request Account DeletionInclude
- The email address used for your FitTrack account.
- A clear statement that you want the FitTrack account deleted.
- Any relevant non-sensitive information needed to identify the account.
Do not send
- Your FitTrack password.
- Your Google password.
- Payment-card information.
- Government identification unless Waris Labs specifically determines that it is legally and operationally necessary.
Do not send your password. Waris Labs may need to verify account ownership before processing an external deletion request. A deletion request sent from the same email address used for the FitTrack account may help with verification.
Information Deleted
When a FitTrack account is successfully deleted, Waris Labs intends to delete the user's FitTrack account and associated application data, including where applicable:
- Firebase Authentication account.
- Email association within FitTrack.
- FitTrack profile information.
- Onboarding information.
- Height and weight information.
- Fitness goals and preferences.
- Settings and unit preferences.
- Water history.
- Weight history.
- Meal and calorie records.
- Workout history.
- Daily summaries and progress data.
- Daily History records.
- 7-day and 30-day progress records.
- Private Saved Video references.
- Other private FitTrack records associated with the account.
Deleting an account is different from signing out. Signing out does not delete the account or cloud data.
Information Not Deleted by Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling FitTrack from your device does not automatically delete:
- Your FitTrack account.
- Firebase Authentication account.
- Cloud Firestore records.
- Fitness history stored in the cloud.
- Saved Videos stored in the cloud.
To delete cloud-stored information, use the in-app Delete Account feature or send a deletion request to Waris Labs. Uninstalling the application will normally remove locally stored app data from that device according to Android behavior, but it does not replace account deletion.
Information That May Be Retained
Waris Labs may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal compliance, resolving disputes, enforcing legal rights, demonstrating that a deletion request was completed, or maintaining limited backup integrity.
Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not be used for ordinary FitTrack functionality. Some deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or technical logs until those systems are overwritten or expire according to applicable retention processes.
Advertising Data
FitTrack uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Deleting a FitTrack account is intended to delete information controlled by Waris Labs that is associated with the FitTrack account.
Account deletion may not delete information independently controlled by Google, AdMob, Android, or advertising partners, including information used for advertising delivery, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or Advertising ID controls.
Users may manage certain advertising preferences through FitTrack's Privacy Choices option where available, Android privacy settings, and Google account advertising settings. FitTrack must not send fitness records to AdMob as targeting data.
Local Device Data
After deleting your account, FitTrack should clear account-related local state under its control. Some technical or advertising preferences may be stored separately by Android, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, or other enabled service providers.
Users may also uninstall FitTrack after account deletion to remove remaining locally stored application files according to Android behavior.
How Long Deletion Takes
Deletion performed successfully inside the app should begin immediately. Manual deletion requests sent to Waris Labs will be reviewed and processed within a reasonable period after account ownership has been verified.
Before Deleting Your Account
- Review any information you want to keep.
- Understand that deletion is permanent.
- Confirm you are deleting the correct account.
- Do not delete the reviewer account while Google Play is reviewing the app.
- Export or record any information you need, if the app supports it.
FitTrack may not currently provide an automated data-export feature.
Problems Deleting an Account
- Confirm that the device has an internet connection.
- Sign out and sign in again.
- Return to Settings > Delete Account.
- Complete any recent-login verification.
- Try the deletion process again.
- Contact Waris Labs if the issue continues.
