1. Introduction
Waris Labs ("Waris Labs," "we," "our," or "us") provides the FitTrack mobile application for Android.
FitTrack is supported through advertising provided by Google AdMob. Advertising and related technologies may process technical, device, consent, and advertising-interaction information as explained in this policy.
Where required, FitTrack will request your consent before using personal information or device storage for personalized advertising. FitTrack is intended for general fitness tracking. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or medical-device functionality.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create a FitTrack account, we collect your email address, a unique account identifier, and authentication information required to create and maintain your account. Your password is managed through Firebase Authentication. Waris Labs does not store or have access to your password in readable form.
Profile and onboarding information
Depending on the fields you complete, FitTrack may collect name or display name, birth year or age range, gender, height, current weight, target weight, fitness goals, preferred measurement units, language, country code, reminder preferences, and timezone.
Fitness and wellness information
You may choose to record water intake, body weight, meals, calories consumed, workouts, workout duration, estimated calories burned, daily summaries, daily history, 7-day progress, and 30-day progress. This information is entered manually by you or calculated from information you provide.
FitTrack does not currently collect health information automatically from Health Connect, wearable devices, medical devices, or device sensors.
Saved content
When you save a curated fitness video, FitTrack may store the video identifier or reference, the date or time it was saved, and its association with your FitTrack account. Saved Videos are private and are not publicly displayed to other FitTrack users.
3. Advertising and Device Information
FitTrack uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device or app identifiers, IP address, device type, operating-system version, app version, language, general device settings, ad requests, ads displayed, ad impressions, ad clicks and interactions, approximate advertising performance, consent choices, fraud and abuse-prevention signals, and diagnostic or technical information.
The precise information processed may depend on your device, your region, your consent choices, Android privacy settings, whether personalized or non-personalized advertising is served, and the ad partners configured in AdMob.
4. Personalized and Non-Personalized Ads
Where permitted and where required consent has been obtained, Google or its advertising partners may use information such as advertising identifiers and app or ad interactions to select ads that may be more relevant to you.
When personalized advertising is unavailable, declined, restricted, or inappropriate, FitTrack may request non-personalized or limited advertising. Non-personalized ads may still use information for contextual ad selection, frequency control, aggregated reporting, security, fraud prevention, ad delivery, and measurement. Declining personalized ads does not necessarily mean that no ads will be shown.
5. Technical, Analytics, and Diagnostic Information
Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, the operating system, and enabled diagnostic providers may process technical information required to operate, secure, and maintain FitTrack. This may include IP addresses, authentication events, app instance identifiers, device or app identifiers, request timestamps, security events, ad-delivery information, crash reports, and basic technical logs.
The audited FitTrack app includes Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Collection is configured for release builds, and development builds disable collection. FitTrack should not include manually entered fitness records, meal details, workout details, email addresses, passwords, user IDs, Firestore paths, or other sensitive account data in analytics parameters, ad requests, ad targeting parameters, URLs, debug logs, or crash diagnostics.
6. Locally Stored Information
FitTrack may use local storage and Cloud Firestore offline persistence. Locally stored information may include cached fitness records, account-session state, startup state, app preferences, consent status, advertising privacy choices, and SDK configuration or frequency-control information.
Locally cached information may remain until the app clears it, you sign out, the operating system clears it, the application is uninstalled, or the relevant SDK storage is cleared. Uninstalling FitTrack does not automatically delete cloud-stored account information.

8. Advertising and Google AdMob
Google AdMob is a mobile advertising service provided by Google. Google and participating advertising partners may process technical, device, consent, and advertising-interaction information to deliver ads, personalize ads where permitted, provide contextual or non-personalized ads, measure impressions and interactions, limit repeated ads, detect invalid traffic, prevent fraud and abuse, produce advertising reports, and maintain advertising security.
Google processing is governed by Google's own privacy terms and advertising policies. The list of advertising partners may vary by region, ad format, ad inventory, consent choices, and mediation configuration. If AdMob mediation is enabled, every active mediation partner must be disclosed or appropriately referenced in the policy and consent flow.
9. Consent and Privacy Choices
FitTrack uses or will use Google's User Messaging Platform to determine whether a consent message or privacy-options entry point is required. Where required, FitTrack may ask whether personal information can be used for personalized advertising, device storage can be used for advertising purposes, advertising partners may process certain data, or non-personalized ads should be used instead.
FitTrack should request updated consent information at app launch before determining whether ads can be requested. Ads must not be requested until the advertising SDK confirms that ads may be requested. Where required by the consent SDK, FitTrack must provide a visible privacy-options entry point. A possible in-app path is FitTrack Settings, then Privacy Choices.
For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, consent messages should be configured through AdMob Privacy & messaging using a Google-certified consent management solution.
You may also manage certain advertising preferences through your Android or Google account settings.
10. How Information Is Stored
FitTrack uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. FitTrack also uses Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform services for advertising and privacy choices.
Information may be processed on infrastructure operated by Google or its service providers in countries other than your country of residence. Waris Labs applies access controls intended to restrict each authenticated user to their own private FitTrack information. No internet-based service can guarantee complete security.
11. When We Share or Allow Processing of Information
We do not sell manually entered FitTrack fitness records. We may allow information to be processed by Firebase, Google AdMob, configured advertising partners, hosting and domain providers, and legal or safety parties when reasonably necessary.
FitTrack does not intentionally provide manually entered health and fitness records to advertisers. AdMob and advertising partners process advertising and device-related information. Personalized ad processing depends on region, settings, and consent.
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
12. YouTube and External Links
FitTrack may contain links to videos hosted on YouTube. When you open a YouTube link, you may leave FitTrack. Google or YouTube may process information under their own policies. Waris Labs does not control YouTube data practices, and FitTrack does not receive your YouTube password.
13. Advertising, Payments, and Purchases
The current planned ad-supported FitTrack release displays advertising through Google AdMob, may display personalized ads where permitted and consented to, and may display non-personalized or limited ads. FitTrack does not sell manually entered fitness records, does not contain subscriptions, does not process payment-card information, and does not contain in-app purchases unless separately implemented and disclosed.
14. Data Retention
Account and fitness information is retained while your FitTrack account remains active, while information is needed to provide requested features, or while retention is reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.
Advertising and diagnostic providers may retain information according to their own policies and configured retention periods. Consent choices may remain stored on the device or with relevant providers so your preferences can be respected.
15. Account and Data Deletion
Users may delete their FitTrack account in the application from Settings, then Delete Account. Deleting the FitTrack account is intended to delete the Firebase Authentication account, FitTrack profile, water records, weight records, meal and calorie records, workout records, daily fitness summaries, Saved Videos records, settings, and other FitTrack cloud records associated with the account.
Account deletion does not necessarily delete information independently held by Google for advertising, fraud prevention, security, or legal purposes, Android Advertising ID history controlled through your device or Google account, records required by applicable law, or temporary backup or security records.
External deletion requests can be made at https://warislabs.com/fittrack/delete-account. You may also contact support@warislabs.com. Never send your password.
16. Accessing and Correcting Information
Users may review and edit supported profile and tracking information through FitTrack. Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or consent withdrawal. Privacy requests may be sent to support@warislabs.com. Account ownership may need to be verified.
17. Security
FitTrack uses reasonable safeguards, including Firebase Authentication, user-scoped Firestore Security Rules, encrypted network connections, restricted administrative access, secure signing and release practices, consent-aware ad initialization, and account deletion controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and devices.
18. Children, International Processing, and Health Disclaimer
FitTrack is not designed for young children and is not directed to children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law. Waris Labs does not knowingly collect information from children who cannot legally consent.
Waris Labs operates from Pakistan. Google, Firebase, AdMob, hosting providers, and advertising partners may process information in other countries. Those countries may have privacy rules different from your country.
FitTrack is a general fitness-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnostic service, treatment service, emergency service, or substitute for a qualified medical professional. Calories, fitness summaries, workout totals, and other calculations may be estimates. Do not use FitTrack for medical emergencies.
19. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when FitTrack features, advertising practices, ad partners, Firebase services, legal requirements, Google Play requirements, or AdMob requirements change. The "Last updated" date will be changed when the policy is revised.
